Term 3 Maths - Multiplication and Division
This term we have been learning about groups of numbers (Multiplication) and sharing (Division).
We had the problem:
There are some cars in a carpark. There are 6 rows with 5 cars in each row. How many cars are there altogether?
We had to draw what it would look it and then write the equation. There are some examples of our thinking on the yellow paper.
Another problem:
A pirate crew found some treasure. They found 24 pieces of gold. There were 4 pirates in the crew. They need to share out the gold. How many does each pirate get? There are some examples of our thinking on the orange paper.
